Amelia Mclelland- Brown

My name is Amelia Mclelland- Brown and i’m currently on a residency here at Back Lane West, Redruth,
i’m an upcoming artist based in Cornwall, working with a variety of different mediums, currently I am working mostly within painting, ceramic and textile.
I take inspiration from my surroundings in Cornwall and the real life happenings that arise living here. I work with fictioning and words, as well as messy naive mark making techniques to create works with motifs that reference Cornwall and my life.
I will be running a free drop in ceramics work shop as well as an open studio on Murdoch day, 13th June, from 11-3… come and get involved !
