Liz Blum is a research-based artist whose multi-disciplinary approach produces thematic exhibits of photographs, composite photos and digital manipulations along with video and object based works. Liz is interested in a cross fertilisation of appearances that builds a wider narrative of responsibility and ownership towards pollution and climate change – challenging notions of what it means to contribute and impact the environment.
Liz hosted an open evening at Back Lane West on Thursday 27th February.
Born and raised in London Liz relocated to the US and currently lives and works in Massachusetts.
Liz exhibits her work internationally and has recently contributed writing and work to The Scaffold, Folium Publishing, London and Extinction Rebellion, London. She is also an independent curator dedicated to exhibition-making that is deeply rooted in the relationship between intellectual and artistic production.
