Exchange Residency Programme

BLW’s involvement with INTERPLAY 2012, generated the BLW EXCHANGE PROGRAMME for 2013

Part One:

The EXCHANGE RESIDENCY PROGRAMME with PAC HOME (Plymouth Art Centre artist membership) and KARST began in May 2013 with:

CARL SLATER – 6th-13th MAY at BACK LANE WEST –
He is an artist, curator, and Director of KARST, Plymouth.

LEE McDONALD – 20th-27th MAY at BACK LANE WEST –
He is an artist based in Plymouth and Technician at KARST

There was an open event on the 30th May 2012 where the artists presented the work they had made and their experiences of the residencies – see link on each artists’ name for text & images.

Part Two:

The second part of  THE EXCHANGE RESIDENCY PROGRAMME involved Kate Ogley, Frances Williams, and Veronica Vickery, who were selected by KARST, PAC Home, & BLW from invited proposal submissions to spend a week long residency each at KARST’s residency space.

Kate Ogley was in residence at KARST from Mon 1st July – Tues 9th July
Frances Williams was in residence at KARST from Wed 10th July – Thurs 18th July
Veronica Vickery was in residence at KARST from Fri 19th July – Sat 27th July

On Tuesday 6th August, 6.30pm at Plymouth Arts Centre, each artist will present their experience of their residency this July at KARST.

Kate Ogley, Frances Williams and Veronica Vickery will present their experience of the week-long residencies at KARST as part of the BACK LANE WEST/PAC Home exchange.
